Str8 x TerraX Sprint Orienteering Tournament 2022
The perfect starting point of orienteering.
[2021-10-12] Consturction project at the event centre of the 5th round of the Str8 x TerraX Sprint Orienteering Tournament 2021 originally scheduled on Nov 6 at Tsing Yi North is delayed. The event center is not available for the race until further notice. Thus, the race venue will be changed to Shek Wai Kok, Tsuen Wan, while the date and time remain unchanged. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.
About Tournament
Well-known compass brand Str8 Compass will be co-organizing the Str8 x TerraX Sprint Orienteering Tournament 2022 with TerraX Sport Club from June to December this year. We aim to develop more possibilities of orienteering races through multi-field crossover!
The Tournament covering different regions of Hong Kong with a total of 8 rounds. With exciting high-speed sprint orienteering, participants may explore the cultural authenticity around the community while enjoying the fun of orienteering!
First 100 participants register for all eight rounds will be awarded with gifts from mask brand WM Project & compass brand Str8 Compass. Don't miss it!

CATI (Come & Try It)
Teen Duo
Family class is for teams made up of 2 to 4 direct relatives. There should be at least one member aged 18 or above and another one aged 13 or below.
Come &Try It (CATI) class must be formed by 2 individuals. [No age limit!]
Teen Duo class must be formed by 2 individuals aged 14 or below. Course difficulty will be same as Women Teen (WB) class. [No gender limit!]

Participants can register by the following ways,
[RECOMMENDED] 1. Purchase a TerraX Race Pass and register with the exclusive link. (After a successful online registration, you will receive a confirmation email. That means your entry is successful.)
2. Register through the online registration system. (After a successful online payment, you will receive a confirmation email. That means your entry is successful.)
3. Online group registration and pay by cheque. Available for 5 competitors or more only. Discount available for 20 entries or more at once. Please contact us via email to acquire Excel entry form and discount details.
No refund shall be made after successful registration. Registration fee paid for duplicated entries will not be refunded. If the event has been cancelled due to inclement weather or Force majeure*, the event will be re-scheduled. If the event is cancelled again on re-scheduled date, the race will not be rescheduled again, and your entry fee will not be refunded.
*Force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organizer and which renders it impossible, unsafe or impractical to hold the event. A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, government policies, rejection of venue permits, act of God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lock outs or disorder, outbreak of disease, acts or threats of terrorism.
Any subsequent amendment (except cancelling or retaining registration) after the registration deadline will result in HK$50 administration fee.
The Tournament will accept registrations after the entry deadline until 3 days before the competition. Organizer will charge a late registration admin fee of HK$20 for each registration.
Remarks
1. Event handbook & start list will be uploaded on website: https://str8.TerraX.hk 3 days before the event. Participants must check the event information on their own.
2. SPORTident AIR+ electronic punching system will be used. Particpants may rent or use own SIAC/SI card for the race. Please use the rented card with care. If the rented control card is lost or damaged, participants are required to compensate HK$700 to the Organizer.
3. All participants and accompanying parents (except exempted persons*) must comply with the government's vaccine pass requirements for campus or campsites when entering the event center of this Tournament. If you are unable to meet the requirements of the Vaccine Pass on the race day or have any enquiries about the Vaccine Pass, please contact us for enquiries and alternative arrangements.
*Exempted persons include:
1) Children under the age of 12
2) Persons holding a COVID-19 Medical Exemption Certicate
3) Persons entering the specied premises only for delivering
or picking up an article on the premises
4. Public Liability Insurance is covered by the Organizer. Participants/Parents are advised to apply their necessary insurance.
5. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any person and / or nullify his or her result due to any violation the official rules of the event. No refund will be accommodated in the case of disqualifications.
6. The Organizer reserves the final right for any amendment, including but not limited to change of competition venues, date, time and race formats. Any changes or contingent measures for the event announced by the organizer and posted on the event’s website shall prevail.
